Weird Bathrooms

This week in class we talked about different cultures around the world and that since we arent used to these different things we think they are weird. And its true there are a lot of times when i think people from other countries are weird because they do something different than we do. For example, when we talked in class about how in Japan they go to the bathroom standing up so they dont have to touch the seat, i thought it was kind of weird and couldnt understand why they would do that. But after i realized that they hate germs it kind of made sense because it was cleaner and could keep us healthier. Afterwards i kind of started to like the way they did things. It just goes to show how sometimes change or something different isnt always bad. Just because something is different doesnt mean its weird and doesnt mean we wouldnt like it. In the future i will not be more open to different things.
